Meetings consultations and one-on-one software training may be conducted via Webex.
Please email if you need to drop off or pick up frozen samples.
Paraffin or other non-refrigerated samples may be left on the cart outside the lab during normal business hours.
Please use appropriate, well-sealed containers (not pipette tip boxes).

The Translational Research Initiatives in Pathology (TRIP) Lab provides technical and consultative support to the UW translational and collaborative research community; and partners with the UW Carbone Cancer Center Biobank as part of Translational Science BioCore (TSB). On a fee-for-service basis, TRIP offers to all researchers high quality histology, tissue microarray creation, IHC/ISH services, multi-spectral imaging, quantitative image analysis, molecular diagnostics and cell line authentication services. These services can be complimented by project consulation provided by board-certified pathologists.

This is a request form/checklist to get you started with the TRIPath's portion of your Xenium project. Your Xenium request should originate with the GEC, who can answer any other questions you may have. Extracted RNA should also be submitted to GEC for DV200 QC. You can contact GEC at gecinfo@biotech.wisc.edu TRIP will only charge for their portion of your Xenium project: Histology, QC: RNA extraction, H&E stain, DAPI stain
